SECURITY PROTOCOLS FOR DELIVERY FROM LIMASOL, CYPRUS

IMPORTANT: information is subject to change. Check with the cruise experts for all the details.

The protocols listed here only apply to departures from Limassol, Cyprus on Jewel of the Seas. We will continue to update these protocols as the public health situation evolves. Recommendations for all other ports of departure are still being developed jointly with federal, state and local authorities. Guests booking a cruise departing from other ports will be provided with full information prior to departure.

VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS
Do I need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to travel on a cruise? What documents confirm vaccination? When should I get the vaccine?
We currently require all guests over the age of 18 to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at least 14 days prior to departure. All crew members aboard Jewel of the Seas from Cyprus will also be vaccinated.

If vaccination is contraindicated for medical reasons; if I cannot be vaccinated for religious reasons; or if I recently had COVID-19 and am no longer eligible for vaccination, who should I contact?
Please contact our team so they can advise you on what documents need to be submitted for review. You should contact them as soon as possible and preferably no later than 30 days before the cruise departs.

I will not have time to fully vaccinate before departure due to delays from the health system. Can I go on a cruise?
Unfortunately no. We currently require all guests over the age of 18 to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. We continually evaluate these protocols and will update them as government requirements, Healthy Sail Panel recommendations, and public health standards evolve. Guests booking a cruise will be informed of the latest requirements within 30 days prior to departure.

What vaccines are accepted?
Any vaccine approved by a national or global public health agency will be accepted.

Will the entire liner team be vaccinated?
Yes. All crew aboard Jewel of the Seas will be fully vaccinated prior to their first cruise.

TESTING
Do I need to take the SARS-CoV-2 test before or during my cruise from Limassol?
All guests over 2 years of age will be required to take a free rapid antigen test at the terminal prior to boarding, which must be negative in order to sail on the cruise. We will send you an email with instructions on how to register for testing in advance, approximately 14-18 days prior to your cruise.
Other guest testing requirements for cruises departing from Cyprus depend on your age and vaccinations.

Vaccinated guests
• Vaccinated guests holding a valid vaccination certificate from the authorities of the countries listed here will be able to enter the Republic of Cyprus without being tested.
• Randomized RT-PCR testing can be performed by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Cyprus upon arrival at the airport.
• Vaccinated guests may need to be tested for SARS-CoV-2 in order to re-enter their country of residence. For your convenience, we will schedule a free test at the end of the cruise for all guests aged 2 years and older.

Unvaccinated guests will have to meet additional requirements to enter the country and board the ship based on their age:
• Before boarding a flight to Cyprus, unvaccinated guests between the ages of 12 and 17 will be required to take a PCR test at their own expense no more than 72 hours prior to arrival in Cyprus. This test is required by the Republic of Cyprus to enter the country.
• Depending on the category of the country of residence, the guest may require additional testing upon arrival at the airport in Cyprus at their own expense. Please read the rules for entry from your country when traveling to Cyprus.
• Unvaccinated guests who decide to extend their stay in Cyprus after a cruise or are residents of Cyprus may be required to undergo a test upon disembarkation, and in some cases quarantine may be required if the stay is longer than 3 nights, with re-PCR testing after quarantine ... These requirements will depend on the classification of Greece (as our port of call) by the Cypriot government. MASKS
Should I wear a mask on board a liner departing from Limassol, Cyprus, and if so, when and where?
All guests 6 years and older must wear a mask in all indoor and outdoor public areas, unless they are sitting and actively eating or drinking, or when they are by the pool. It is forbidden to be wearing masks in the pool or during any activity where they may get wet.

What is considered a face mask?

Your mask should consist of at least two layers of dense fabric with loops that go behind your ears in accordance with health guidelines. The mask should fit snugly over the face and cover the nose and mouth, but allow easy breathing. Please note that open chin bandanas, scarves, and flap face masks are not health authorities and are not permitted.

Is it necessary to wear a mask in ports of call?
When entering port, follow all local mask regulations for the safety of our guests, crew and local residents in port. On shore excursions, your guide will advise on when to wear masks.

If a mask is contraindicated for medical reasons, who should I contact?
Please contact our team so they can advise you on what documents need to be submitted for review. You should contact them as soon as possible and preferably no later than 30 days before the cruise departs.

LANDING AT THE TERMINAL

When do I need to arrive at the port? What happens if I arrive late or arrive early?
When you complete your online check-in on the Royal Caribbean App, you will be prompted to choose the arrival time that suits you best. We have developed specific protocols for the safe physical distance of all guests, testing and boarding, and accurate arrival according to the chosen time frame is a key part of this. If you have arrived at the port earlier, we ask you to wait in the car until your check-in window.
We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals, but your boarding priority may be changed to maintain sufficient social distancing.

What happens upon arrival at the terminal?
All guests will be asked to undergo a health examination at the port and provide the necessary documentation. All guests over 2 years of age will also be required to undergo a rapid antigen test upon arrival at the port and wait a while for their test results to be received. Upon arrival, you will receive step-by-step instructions through the entire process. Please wear a mask during the entire boarding process.

What can I expect if I am referred for a follow-up examination? What happens if I don't get a second examination?
Re-examination may be required under certain circumstances. The guest will be directed to the location where the re-examination will take place in such a way as to ensure the privacy of the guest. During the follow-up assessment, trained third-party health professionals will conduct additional assessments in person or remotely. Reexamination may include, but is not limited to, temperature screening (s), in-depth history interviews, and vital signs measurements. Upon re-examination, and upon the recommendation of these health professionals, the guest and accompanying persons may be denied boarding.

Given the new protocols, how long would it take to land?
We do not expect the boarding process to take much longer than usual due to fewer guests, scheduled arrival at port and the ability to complete most of the required steps through the Royal Caribbean app prior to arriving at port.
All guests will be asked to undergo a health screening at the port and provide the necessary documentation. Unvaccinated guests will also be required to undergo a rapid antigen test upon arrival at port and wait a short time after the test for results. Upon arrival, you will receive step-by-step instructions through the entire process.

What happens if I or someone in my company has symptoms of COVID-19 or an infectious disease in the terminal? Can we go cruish? If I am denied boarding at the port, will I receive a refund?
If you have a fever or other symptoms of illness in the terminal, it could result in denied boarding for you and your company. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you monitor your health in the days leading up to the cruise and cancel or change your plans if symptoms of illness occur. If you are denied boarding at the port because of a positive SARS-CoV-2 test and / or because you are showing active symptoms of an infectious disease, you and your travel group will receive a full refund.

Is additional documentation required to return to Cyprus?
All guests must complete a declaration form upon returning to Cyprus at the end of the cruise, additional information will be provided on board. Many countries now require guests to complete a national form before traveling home. Check with your government's requirements before traveling.

EXCURSIONS ON THE SHORE

What security measures will be taken to ensure the safety of excursions, and how do you ensure that tour operators at destinations adhere to all health and safety protocols?
We work with tour operators at each port of call to ensure that we can offer our guests a wide variety of excursions that cover different interests, types of experiences and price points. All excursions offered by Royal Caribbean will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws and our established health and safety guidelines. All vehicles that connect guests between the liner and excursion facilities will be properly disinfected with medical supplies and will have remote landing sites. To ensure that all tour operators abide by our guidelines, we have created a team that works with each port of call to review the processes of all suppliers and tour operators and ensure that our policies are being followed at all times.

Please note: RCL is not responsible for injuries or losses incurred during an excursion not booked directly with the cruise line.

Do I need to purchase the tour from Royal Caribbean or can I get off on my own?
We currently expect vaccinated guests to not need to book an excursion to disembark at ports, we work closely with each of the ports we visit to ensure that their established protocols are followed. Unvaccinated guests will only be able to get off at ports on Royal Caribeban tours. Be sure to check out our selection of carefully selected shore excursions - we've worked with

local tour operators to ensure they adhere to our stated health protocols and offer a variety of choices to suit all interests and budgets.

Please note: RCL is not responsible for injuries or losses incurred during an excursion not booked directly with the cruise line.

What types of excursions will be offered to guests? Will it be possible to visit indoor areas such as museums, galleries, historical sites, etc. during the excursions?
Tours offered by Royal Caribbean will include popular activities such as shopping, sightseeing, beach visits and other excursions that follow our health and safety guidelines. Rest assured that any Royal Caribbean excursions will meet our high health and safety requirements and we will be guided by the appropriate health authorities for each port of call.
