Costa Cruises resumes cruises!12.08.2020 12:48
Following the Italian government's approval for the resumption of cruises and a new health protocol, Costa Cruises plans to gradually resume operations from Italian ports on September 6, 2020. The company said the return to cruises will be progressive, with more and more ships being attracted.

We previously reported that the cruise company MSC Cruises is resuming cruises.

The first ship to sail on 6 September 2020 will be Costa Deliziosa, which will operate weekly cruises from Trieste to the Greek Islands.
On September 19, 2020, the Costa Diadema will follow, which will make seven-day cruises in the Western Mediterranean from Genoa, offering visits to the best cities in Italy and Malta.

Everything about the cruise company Costa Cruises.

Since the entry into force of the new Italian government regulation, Costa Cruises has been working with the authorities to ensure the responsible, smooth and well-organized application of the new rules and protocols, in close collaboration with local institutions, health authorities, harbor, port and terminal authorities and RINA. In this regard, more detailed information on the Costa Deliziosa and Costa Diadema routes will be announced in the coming days.
To complete the gradual implementation of these protocols on board and ashore, the company is extending the pause of its cruise season until 30 September 2020, with the exception of the aforementioned departures to Costa Deliziosa (6, 13, 20, 27 September) and Costa Diadema (19 September).

Costa Cruises has developed a Costa Safety Protocol for its fleet, including new operating procedures in response to the COVID-19 situation. The protocol was developed with the assistance of a group of independent public health scientific experts coordinated by V.I.H.T.A.L.I. (Value in Health Technology and Academy for Leadership and Innovation), a subsidiary affiliated with the Catholic University of Rome. The protocol is consistent with national and international health principles and includes a very wide range of measures and procedures covering all aspects of the cruise, including:
Ensuring the safety of the crew upon return to work
Booking process
Embarkation and disembarkation procedures in ports
Life on board
·       tours
·       medical service.
