The name of the small resort town "Khor Fakkan" is translated from Arabic as "The Bay of Two Jaws" - it is located between two mountain capes in a picturesque bay.
This young resort is not yet very popular with tourists. There is not a huge number of nightclubs or fashionable restaurants, but there is silence, mountains, beautiful deserted beaches, calm sea and a diverse underwater world: corals, fish, turtles, rays.
Cruise lines often indicate Fujairah on their itineraries 20 km from Khor Fakkan for marketing reasons. There is also a port there, but it can only accept small and medium-sized vessels. The berth of large liners in the cargo port of Khor-Fakkan.
Passengers are offered a shuttle service to the city for a fee. The city is about 40 minutes and they go to the shopping center.

Wait a few seconds...Khor Fakkan does not have its own airport. The nearest airport is in Fujairah city. From Fujairah Airport to the cruise port is a taxi ride with an approximate travel time of 35 minutes.

The main attraction of Khor Fakkan is nature. Corals, fish, turtles, stingrays and other cute sea creatures are underwater. There are mountain landscapes above the water, golden sandy beaches, palm groves and strawberry plantations. As for historical and cultural attractions, there are few of them in Khor-Fakkan. The Al Rifais Dam, built to collect flood waters, one of the few sources of fresh water in the area, has survived in the mountains. Well, the main local attraction is the Ruler's Palace (aka the White Palace), located on the top of a cliff.
A taxi from the port to the nearest beach on the territory of the hotel costs about 10-15 dollars, the entrance to the beach is 15-20 dollars per person.
The municipal beach is within walking distance (about 500 meters to the right of the port), but there is no infrastructure.
