Citizens of Ukraine when crossing the border must have an entry permit - a visa issued at the Consulate Department of the Chinese Embassy in Kiev.
 
To enter China with diplomatic and service passports, you do not need to apply for a visa to China.
 
     Attention! According to the agreement between the government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China (Hong Kong) and the government of Ukraine on visa-free travel of citizens, from November 4, 2010, Ukrainian citizens can enter Hong Kong for tourism purposes without having a visa to Hong Kong. The period of stay in Hong Kong should not exceed 14 days. In case of stay for more than 14 days, a corresponding visa is issued at the Consulate of the PRC.
 
Attention! The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC has temporarily suspended the entry of foreign citizens into China from March 28, 2020 to counter the spread of COVID-19.
Attention! Due to the rapid spread of the epidemic, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Ukraine temporarily stops accepting documents for visas and legalization in order to minimize the risk of infection.

** reception days by the consular department of China for tourist (L) and business (M) visas: Monday and Wednesday. For the period of quarantine in Ukraine, starting from 03/16/2020, documents are accepted by the Consular Section of the PRC Embassy in Ukraine on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
 
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
1. A passport with at least two blank pages, valid for at least 6 months at the time of visiting the country. A copy of ALL pages of the second valid foreign. passports. Applicants with a passport issued from 01/01/2015 are required to provide a copy of ALL pages of the previous canceled passport. passports. If the first passport, you must provide a certificate from the OVIR confirming this information. ATTENTION! Shabby, worn out, dilapidated passports are not accepted for work.

3. Application form of the applicant with all the filled in data.
4. Original Certificate of employment (salary from UAH 5000), indicating the amount of salary for the last 6 months (income statement) for hired applicants,
 
or a copy of the Extract or Certificate of Registration of a Private Entrepreneur for Entrepreneurs,
 
or the original certificate from the bank with a balance of at least 1500 - 2000 dollars / person, for pensioners, temporarily unemployed or housewives.
 
5. A copy of all 16 pages of the internal passport.
6. Medical insurance for tourists over 60 years old.
 
 
For children traveling with parents:
1. A passport with at least two blank pages, valid for at least 6 months at the time of visiting the country. A copy of ALL pages of the second valid foreign. passports.
