The Caribbean is the most popular and busiest cruise region. Most Caribbean cruises start from US ports: Miami, Port Canaveral, Fort Lauderail, Tampa and even New York!

But there are also absolutely visa-free cruises. But, with such routes, you need to be careful, since not all cruises that do not start from the United States are visa-free.

For example, if your cruise starts from the port of Philipsburg / Sint Maarten, Netherlands, then you need to open the Netherlands Overseas Territories visa in advance at the Dutch embassy (visa center). However, if that port is in the middle of the cruise itinerary, landfall is free (visa-free).
