Celebrity Cruises
Since its inception in 1989, Celebrity Cruise Line has remained true to its original vision to bring together the very best of classic, elegant cruise travel, constantly evolving its range of services to suit the modern lifestyle. In 1997, the company merged with Royal Caribbean International under the Royal Caribbean Cruises brand.
The cruise line's passionate dedication to the interests of its guests and to those ideals of professional service that are the epitome of contemporary luxury is what sets Celebrity apart from other seafood alternatives today. Even the smallest details aboard Celebrity Cruises are in line with the modern understanding of the world standards that made sea travel popular in the first place: high quality, superb design, spacious rooms, unrivaled style, caring service and exceptionally delicious cuisine.
Celebrity Cruises 'X' is a hallmark of contemporary luxury, with its tranquil contemporary design and warm living room ambiance; restaurants where design is as important as cuisine and the delectable service only available on board Celebrity Cruises is a sign that your vacation will be unforgettable. In addition to the actual sea voyages to all continents, Celebrity also offers its guests exciting, full of experience tours in Alaska, Australia / New Zealand, Canada, Europe and South America. For 2012, Celebrity Cruises has a fleet of 11 beautiful ships.

History of the company:
As soon as the first ship was launched in 1990, Celebrity immediately took its well-deserved place among the leaders in the cruise travel industry. This recognition has been achieved thanks to the spacious, stylish interiors of the liners; exquisite dinners that elevated the restaurant business to the level of art; individual service, with a ratio of the number of staff and guests 2: 1; and unexpected, newfangled entertainment on board, that is, everything you need to provide a unique experience in short lines. The introduction of the stylish new class of Solstice ships has strengthened Celebrity Cruises' leadership position.

Celebrity Fleet Replenishment - Millennium Class.
In 2000, Celebrity launched a new class ship, appropriately named Celebrity Millennium, which was powered by the world's first gas turbine engines, the technology of which can reduce air emissions by 95 percent compared to traditional propulsion systems. Celebrity Millennium and its sisters Infinity, Celebrity Summit and Celebrity Constellation have nearly doubled the company's regular passenger turnover in just two years (2000-2002), with each ship offering guests an unrivaled dining experience in each of its exclusive intimate restaurants. Olympic Celebrity Millennium, S.S. United States ”Celebrity Infinity,“ Normandie ”Celebrity Summit and“ Ocean Liners ”Celebrity Constellation each boast original panels and artifacts from the famous transatlantic luxury liners after which they were named (“ Ocean Liners ”contains fragments of Ile de France), and also make writing a spectacle thanks to the skill of their chefs and unusual carvings in a truly French style.
Today the company offers, in addition to its excursion program, overland tours inland of Alaska and Canada.

Even more luxury:
Since its inception, Celebrity has offered its passengers a wide range of services and relaxation opportunities. More than 100 branded body care products and services and new "luxury tastes" became the hallmark of Celebrity ships back in 2003. Among them: a welcome glass of champagne and mimosa for guests, cold towels and fresh sherbet by the pool, an expanded choice of dishes in the dining room, including the opportunity to visit a sushi bar and pizzeria, yoga and Pilates workshops at sunset, and much more. In the same year, Celebrity presented the public with the new Concierge Class, the main features of which were an increased level of comfort in the cabins, all kinds of amenities, personalized service and the world's first "Acupuncture at Sea".

Galapagos Islands Adventure Cruises:
In 2004, the cruise line launched Celebrity Xpeditions, an opportunity to simultaneously get a unique experience in an unfamiliar environment and first-class service. This one-of-a-kind program brings guests all the premium services Celebrity is renowned for in exotic new destinations, including cruises to the enchanting Galapagos Islands on a luxury mega yacht.

Meet the Solstice Class:
Today, ten ships of the Celebrity fleet are Solstice class liners, which focus the attention of passengers on the stunning appearance and design details, as well as on the exceptional capabilities of the to have a sordid time. Solstice liners have taken the style of sea travel and professional service to the next level. Celebrity Solstice was launched in 2008, Celebrity Equinox in 2009, and Celebrity Eclipse in 2010. All three liners are designed for 2,850 guests, and the approximate weight of each is 122,000 tons. Celebrity Silhouette joined the Celebrity fleet in 2011 and Celebrity Reflection in 2012. Both liners are even more impressive in size.
Celebrity's Solstice Class features the industry's first Lawn Club, which is a replica of an open-air country club with a real grass lawn where guests can practice golf, play a variety of games such as croquet and bowling, or just relax under the sun or starlight; also on the liners the world's first show of hot glasses on board the ship, which was created with the support of the Korninsky Museum of Glass, is presented. The Solstice Class also offers larger and more sophisticated staterooms that have been furnished under the influence of the "First Ladies of Celebrity" - five secular women with a unique take on the culture of travel and hospitality. The new ships have fewer interior cabins - 90% of the cabins here overlook the ocean, and 85% of the cabins have verandas. There is also a completely new category of cabins - the "AquaClass" - designed for spa lovers and offers many exclusive amenities such as a dedicated healthy eating program and unlimited stays in a relaxation room or the Persian Garden. Celebrity's Solstice ships are also the industry's first liners to use solar technology. Some solar panels have a dual purpose, providing shade on the terrace and generating energy at the same time.

Celebrity Gastronomic Temptations
Celebrity gives its guests an exceptional opportunity to enjoy the finest cuisine. Celebrity Chef James Beard's fresh, creative culinary approach brings a touch of novelty to the catering industry that has helped fuel the resounding success of Qsine, the "unmistakably extraordinary" restaurant that debuted aboard Celebrity Eclipse. Equally successful was the Lawn Club Grill, the first open-air BBQ aboard Celebrity Silhouette.

This innovative culinary vision is reflected in everything from recipes and ingredients to serving and serving.
In 2008, before the launch of Celebrity Solstice, Celebrity Cruises opened five unique restaurants on the sea, by the end of 2012 this number had increased to 45 in total.

Celebrity Cruises Today:
The Solstice class has completely changed the face and content of the Celebrity brand name. Many of the design, entertainment and culinary concepts pioneered aboard Solstice-class ships proved to be so effective and popular that in early 2010 Celebrity announced plans to fit their Millennium-class ships to Solstice standards. So far, 9 vessels have already undergone such a "renewal".
Among the features of the Solsticе class, adapted to the Millennium class, are:
• AquaClass cabins and exclusive seafood restaurant AquaClass - Blu.
• Qsine, a "uniquely different" restaurant with a specialty menu.
• Tuscan Grille, a popular Napa Valley-meets-Italian eatery.
• Bistro on Five - a lively diner where you can find the most delicious pancakes.
• Icy Martini Bar.
• New-fashioned cafes al Bacio and Gelateria, replacing the former Cova Café.
• Wine Bar with Enomatic, an Italian wine dispensing system that allows guests to select and pour a glass of wine for every taste at the touch of a button.
• Even more luxurious suites that, with their stylish new furnishings, flat-screen TVs, cuddly textiles, linens and carpets, compete with Europe's most modern hotel rooms.
• Refurbished cabins with brand new carpeting, flat screen TV and wonderful textiles.
• New color schemes and décor reflecting Solstice's distinctive style in every hall and every room, from the Celebrity Theater to the Seaside Grill, from the main dining hall to the Michael’s Club.
Always on the pulse of what their guests want and with an eye on the future, Celebrity Cruises continues to innovate and deliver a level of experience that has already won many awards.
