The Disney Adventure cruise ship will be built in 2025 (the first ship of the Global project - Global Dream). It is currently being built in Germany by Meyer Werft Wismar for DCL – Disney Cruise Line.
This ship is the largest ever built in Germany. The total development cost was 210 million euros.
In November 2022, the 75% completed ship was purchased by the American cruise company Disney Cruise Line. In September 2023, the ship was renamed from Global Dream to Disney Adventure.
Disney Adventure's first voyage and inaugural itinerary (Asian ports as well as Europe to Asia) are expected to be announced sometime in 2024. The ship will operate cruises from Singapore to the Pacific region.
