Another milestone in the construction of the second ship Explora Journeys, which is scheduled for delivery in the summer of 2024.
Geneva, Switzerland, May 5, 2022 - Explora Journeys, MSC Group's new luxury travel brand, today celebrated the laying of the second of four luxury ships, the EXPLORA II, at the Fincantieri shipyard in Castellammare di Stabia, Italy.

The GT 63 900 will be delivered in the summer of 2024. The first EXPLORA l is currently under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy, and is due to sail in the summer of 2023.
Today's event in Castellammare di Stabia was attended by senior executives from both the shipowner and the shipbuilder.

EXPLORA II will feature 461 oceanfront suites, penthouses and residences, nine restaurants, 10 indoor and outdoor bars and lounges, four pools, expansive outdoor decks with private cabanas, wellness services and gourmet entertainment.
All four ships of the Explora Journeys fleet will be equipped with the latest environmental and marine technology.
