Mega-yacht Le Champlain is the second of six ships of the Compagnie du Ponant (CDP) polar expedition. From the same "Explorer-class" series, there are Le Laperouse (2018), Le Bougainville (2019), Le Kerguelen (2019), Le Bellot (2020) and Le Jacques Cartier (fka Le Surville) (2020).

Le Champlain has many common areas that are designed and equipped to suit all your needs.

The 140 m² reception includes:

reception / concierge;

tour agency;

ship administrative services;

the sales office where the Guest Relations Officer works;

a 50 m² boutique selling clothing, jewelry, beauty products, postcards and various accessories.

The main hall is 200 m² in size, which can accommodate all passengers who can have fun and activities organized in the afternoon or evening.

Theater for 188 seats, equipped with:

the latest sound and light technologies;

LED wall that serves as a stage background for projecting high-definition images and videos.

The recreation area has an entertaining children's room where little guests can spend time, play video games and dance on a special dance floor.

The outdoor dining area (Lido Grill located on Deck 3) has 70 seats. This open-air restaurant serves grilled meats and a variety of salads and desserts.

Aft Deck 4 houses a 260 m2 restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows. The restaurant opens onto an outdoor terrace and offers several buffet lines for breakfast and lunch. The staff provides table service for hot meals.

Special dietary requests must be made in advance.

At the restaurant, breakfasts and lunches are served buffet style, while a 4-course à la carte dinner is served by waiters. In fine weather, meals can be served outdoors (on the aft deck on the deck).

Afternoon tea is served in the panoramic lounge. Coffee and tea are free and available 24 hours a day.
