Wonder of the Seas is the fifth liner of the most popular OASIS class of the Royal Caribbean International cruise line. The construction of the liner began in April 2019 at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard. Initially, launching was planned in 2021, but due to the pandemic, it was postponed to 2022.

Wonder of the Seas will rightfully take the place of the largest ship in the world. The cruise company Royal Caribbean International specially builds each successive Oasis class liner slightly larger than the previous one. In this case, the main difference that confirms the title of the largest liner in the world will be a displacement of 228,081 tons and the number of decks. The liner will have 19 decks, while other OASIS class liners have only 18 decks.

Wonder of the Seas was launched already on 05.09.2020 at the "Chantiers de l'Atlantique" shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France. After that, it was towed to dry dock to continue construction and finishing work. The construction of the liner began in April 2019.
It was originally planned to fully complete the construction of the liner in 2021. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and as a result, the suspension of work at the shipyard, the transfer of the liner to the cruise company Royal Caribbean International is planned in 2022. It is also worth recalling that the cruise company has 2 more OASIS class liners planned:
• in 2023, the new sixth giant liner under the temporary name - RCCL (OASIS-6);
• the construction of the seventh liner of this class - RCCL (OASIS-7) is planned in 2026.
It is planned that the liner will make cruises in Asia starting at the port of Shanghai. This is not surprising, because the Asian market is developing rapidly, and cruise companies are sending more and more liners, including new ones, to this region. The only delay in the development of the Southeast Asia cruise region was the events associated with COVID-19. But life goes on, and as we already know, a vaccine (and more than one) has been invented, so everything will soon be restored with even greater force.

On board the Wonder of the Seas, as on other Oasis-class ships, everything is divided into themed zones. But, there will be more of them than on the previous liners - as many as eight!
Royal Promenade is the heart of Wonder of the Seas and one of the most visited destinations. Here you will find everything: shops, restaurants and entertainment. Throughout the day, each of the passengers will receive something interesting and new for themselves.
The Children's area is for the smallest passengers on the Wonder of the Seas, who will find plenty of fun at the Adventure Ocean multipurpose kids club. BEFORE YOUR TRAVEL

WHILE BOARDING THE LINER
We recommend that you arrive at the seaport 4 hours before the departure of the liner.
ATTENTION! THE LINER DOES NOT WAIT FOR LATEURS! The rest of the tourists bear full material and moral responsibility for the consequences arising from their delay to the departure of the vessel.
Please note that baggage is checked in at the port and delivered to the cabin (the recommended tip for baggage delivery is approximately $ 2 per item, payable upon drop-off).
During customs and border formalities, you hand over your passport to the emigration service of the liner (for the duration of the cruise), go on board the liner, are accommodated in the cabin, the number and category of the cabin are indicated in the cruise documents.
Each cabin contains information about the location of services, a plan-map of the liner, a telephone directory of various ship services. Each cabin is equipped with air conditioning, telephone, TV, safe, 110 volt and 220 volt sockets. Some cabins have a hairdryer. Each cabin has a bathroom equipped with a shower, while the suites have a bath.

There is always a “drill” before the liner departs, you must take a life jacket and take part in the exercise.
ABOUT THE TIME OF THE CRUISE
The CruiseCompass day program is delivered daily to the cabin with a detailed indication of the place, time and content of the activities on board, the start time of the excursion program, air temperature, as well as general information about the port of call, recommendations for choosing clothes, etc.
We urge you to keep your luggage safe. It is recommended to keep valuables and money in safes.

YOUR WARDROBE
Ladies are advised to take evening, cocktail dresses, men - a suit and tie. During the cruise, solemn receptions will be arranged on the liner, one of which is arranged by the liner captain.
ADDITIONAL EXPENSES ON BOARD, THEIR PAYMENT
The cruise price includes all types of meals on board (with the exception of dinners in alternative restaurants), accommodation in a cabin of the selected category, use of the gym, swimming pools, as well as the entertainment program, port taxes and duties.
Additional payments: products of bars, booking seats in alternative restaurants, laundry services, beauty salon, SPA, casino, shore excursions, sports activities in groups, ordering food and drinks in the cabin from 00:00 to 05:30 in the morning.
CASHLESS PAYMENT OF EXPENSES ON BOARD
For the convenience of calculations, all passengers receive a so-called Sea Pass credit card upon check-in, which is credited with all additional expenses on board during the cruise. You will need cash and credit cards for payments at the ports of the ship's parking.
What is a SeaPass card?

The SeaPass card must be activated on the day the cruise starts. SHORE EXCURSIONS

MEDICAL SERVICES
All ships of Royal Caribbean International, CelebrityCruises and AzamaraClubCruises have trained doctors and nurses who are available around the clock in case of emergency. Our liners are equipped with excellent laundry and dry cleaning services. The price list for this type of service is in your cabin. With a standard order, things will be delivered the next day. If you need to receive things during the day, you must return the completed form and things in a special package to the steward by 09:00, the surcharge will be 50% of the total order value.
DUTY-FREE SHOPS
There are duty-free shops on board the ships, where a variety of goods are widely presented: souvenirs with the symbols of Royal Caribbean, CelebrityCruises, and AzamaraClubCruises, tobacco products, alcoholic beverages, clothing, perfumery and cosmetics, jewelry, and basic necessities. All cabins on Royal Caribbean, CelebrityCruises, and AzamaraClub have radio and TV. Television broadcasts a satellite news channel from various countries, films, music programs and an internal TV channel reporting on the program on board, ports of call, etc.

ALCOHOL
Alcoholic drinks brought on board the vessel will be seized by security and returned to the owner the day before the cruise ends.
Persons under the age of 21 are strictly prohibited from drinking alcoholic beverages, this regulation is strictly observed by the service personnel, at the request of the bartender / waiter, the passenger is obliged to present the SeaPass, which contains information about the age of the passenger. PREGNANCY
Pregnant women are allowed to travel if the pregnancy at the end of the cruise does not reach 24 weeks. CHILDREN
The minimum age for children accepted for carriage is 6 months, however on some cruises the minimum age is 1 year. Please check with your agency. All RCI and CCL ships have children's clubs, which are divided into 5 age groups and accept children from 3 to 17 years old inclusive.
MINORS
Passengers under the age of 21 are considered minors and must live in a cabin with a parent / proxy during the cruise, and the proxy must carry a parental power of attorney upon boarding. The power of attorney must be translated into English and certified by an apostille.
END OF CRUISE, DEPARTURE
On one of the days of the cruise, special forms will be delivered to your cabin - DisembarkationForm. Fill in them, indicating the time of departure from the ship. In accordance with the specified time, luggage tags of a certain color will be delivered to your cabin, which will need to be filled in and attached to the luggage on the penultimate day of the cruise. Also, the day before the end of the cruise, customs declarations will be delivered to your cabin, which must be filled out and carried with you to go through passport and customs control.
Filled luggage tags are attached to suitcases, bags. Luggage is put on the corridor until 24.00 on the penultimate day of the cruise. On the day of arrival at the port, you must pay with your SeaPass card (by 7.00 am) and receive your passport! (Pursersdesk / GuestRelations). You will receive your luggage at the port based on the color of the luggage tag.
Wonder of the Seas is ideal for families with children of all ages. In addition to many activities for the whole family, the Adventure Ocean multipurpose kids club is on board. Parents can be absolutely calm because here experienced animators will look after your children and offer interesting leisure time.

The kids club is divided into 3 age groups:
Aquanaut - for children 3-5 years old.
For children under 3 years old, there is a separate area with educational games, where kids can spend time on the cruise with their parents.
Explorers - for children 6-8 years old;
Voyagers - for children 9-12 years old.
The Adventure Ocean area also includes a teen lounge. This separate space with an outdoor terrace was created especially for children from 13 to 17 years old. Teenagers can have fun with their peers here, listening to music, playing board games and watching movies. Discos and theme parties are regularly held for teenagers.
You won't find such a gastronomic variety as on the Wonder of the Seas cruise ship. It is simply impossible to visit all the restaurants in one cruise, even if you do not get off at the ports of the ship's stop.
Like most cruise ships, Wonder of the Seas categorizes restaurants and cafes into basic (free) and alternative (surcharge).

Windjammer is a buffet with the Swedish line, which presents the best and everyone's favorite international dishes - fresh salads, snacks, pasta, soups, omelets, pastries, sandwiches and much more. The menu is updated daily and surprises with its variety. Even if you only visit the Buffet, the food will never be monotonous.
Main Dining Room is the main restaurant of the Wonder of the Seas. Serving and ordering dishes is a la carte. For dinner, you can choose to change meals. You will surely enjoy the elegant atmosphere of this establishment and the attentive service.
Boardwalk Dog House - Sometimes you need to grab a quick bite while walking along the main promenade of the Wonder of the Seas. For this, fast food is ideal for your loved ones. The menu offers a wide variety of hot dogs with an abundance of toppings and sauces.
Café Promenade is a 24-hour cafe in the Boardwalk atrium. A quick bite to eat at any time of the day or night. The buffet always has fresh pastries, cold and hot drinks, snacks for every taste.

150 Central Park - as the name implies, the restaurant is located in Central Park. The chef's gourmet menu always features fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Chops Grille is a classic steakhouse with a huge assortment of grilled meats. It also boasts the finest selection of aged marbled beef.
Coastal Kitchen is a light and cozy restaurant serving Mediterranean and Californian cuisine and is open all day.
Giovanni's Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar - a restaurant that serves Italian cuisine made according to home recipes from different regions of Italy. The menu also includes a wide range of appetizers, hot dishes, desserts and, of course, a list of Italian wines.
