Before boarding the cruise ship, each tourist checks in at the cruise terminal of the seaport.

From the beginning, you check in your luggage (on which the luggage tags are glued), then you go with your hand luggage to metal detectors and border control.

 

While you are boarding the ship, your luggage will be delivered by movers on board the cruise ship, and then to your cabin. If during the delivery of your luggage you will be in the cabin or your cabin will be closed, then the luggage will be left near the cabin door so as not to disturb you.

 

As a rule, baggage is delivered before the cruise ship departs from the port. It is very rare, but there are cases that your luggage was not delivered to the cabin or to the cabin.

 

For what reasons it can be:

1. When the baggage was delivered, the baggage tag came off;

2. Prohibited items found in your luggage:

    - piercing and cutting objects

    - iron

    - weapons, poisonous substances, etc.

 

There were no other reasons.

 

If this situation has happened to you, it is enough to contact the reception (registration desk). Most cruise lines have it near the atrium on the 4th and 5th decks.

The company employees will take you to the luggage and if the luggage was left at the reception due to the fact that it contained prohibited substances or objects, then you will need to check them in before the end of the cruise (of course, if it is not poisonous substances, viruses, weapons, etc. .).
