For several weeks now we have been hearing about the Chinese coronavirus and only the lazy one does not discuss this topic. Also, everyone already knows that quarantine has been introduced on the Diamond Princess cruise ship, since a virus infection was detected on board the ship. Of course everyone knows ... after all, how beautifully the news sounds related to illness on a beautiful cruise ship, given that no one hesitates to use such phrases as "ghost ship", "people are mothballed on board", "tourists are locked in their cabins and are not allowed out" and etc. All for the sake of a “beautiful” and scary headline, all for the sake of clicking on the link and reading the article or watching the video, as well as leaving an angry comment, developing arguments and sharing this negativity and fear.

 

But! No media publishes information about how cruise companies solve such problems, what the team (liner workers) does in order to prevent the spread of the disease and help tourists to wait out this period as comfortably as possible and not get sick. That's right, it's not that interesting. It has long been proven that the "yellow press" is read by many more people ....

 

All have become sharply experts in virology and sea travel, and in other related fields. And here are the consequences of what the panic that is being sowed by this very "yellow press", which we call them: television channels, news sites, YouTube channels, and so on:

- many people around the world have stopped buying any goods from China, which will significantly hit their pockets and the economy as a whole. Although, these products do not carry the virus.

- in a panic, people bought up all the dressings that do not quite protect against the virus

- Because of the hype around DiamondPrincess, people are already afraid of all cruises, regardless of the region.

- everyone has forgotten how many people around the world die from simple flu and other, not such popularized diseases as coronavirus.

 

No one is immune from the disease of one or another disease, but few can soberly assess the situation and act correctly to treat the disease and reduce the risks of its spread. Cruise companies are global corporations that do everything possible to ensure the safety of tourists in all situations. And all the actions of the team on board the ship are aimed at the safety and comfort of guests. At the moment, there are many passengers of the DiamondPrincess liner who are sympathetic to the situation and highly appreciate everything that the entire service staff does for them. We all understand perfectly well that if one infected tourist visited a large resort hotel in a particular country, the consequences of infection could be much more serious.

 

I would like to summarize all of the above and not write you a lot of information, which is already abundant on the Internet, on television and in other media.
