MSC Cruises are forced to adjust or cancel some routes!

 

Due to restrictions on the movement of passengers imposed by the UAE authorities, the company is canceling all cruises on the liners MSC Bellissima and MSC Lirica, starting from March 14, 2020 in the Persian Gulf, including the Grand Voyages to MSC Bellissima on March 21, 2020 and MSC Lirica April 18, 2020

 

In the Mediterranean Sea, due to restrictions on the movement of citizens imposed by the Italian government, boarding, disembarking from a liner and visiting Italian ports is currently impossible.

 

In this regard, we are adjusting the routes of the MSC Grandiosa and canceling cruises on MSC Opera from March 10 to April 21, 2020.

 

Please note that further adjustments in the programs are possible depending on the development of the situation.

 

For guests whose cruises have to be canceled, MSC offers a voucher equal to the cost of the canceled cruise and an additional in-flight credit.

 

The voucher can be redeemed for any future MSC Cruises departing before 31 December 2021. Additional onboard credit is € 100 per cabin for cruises up to 6 nights and € 200 for cruises from 7 nights. For the excellent MSC Bellissima and MSC Lirica Grand Voyages, the onboard credit will be 400 euros per cabin.

 

MSC Cruises regrets that the current circumstances and restrictions / prohibitions by government authorities in the countries of entry along the route of cruise ships are forcing changes in the routes, and, thereby, disrupting their plans, but the main priority of MSC Cruises is the safety of guests and crew members.
