Longest round-the-world cruise in the world08.05.2018 10:41
The cruise company Viking Ocean Cruises has announced the longest round-the-world cruise with a duration of 245 days!
This will be the longest commercial cruise around the world in the world. So say representatives of the cruise company Viking Ocean Cruises. The company presented a unique 245-day sea tour with visits to 59 countries and 113 ports.
For comparison, a round-the-world cruise from Oceania Cuises lasts 180 days, and from Costa Cruises - 110 days.
The cruise will take place on board the luxury liner Viking Sun. The tour will start from London on August 31, 2019. If spending two-thirds of the year at sea is too much for you, the company offers to purchase separate segments of the world trip (127 days from London to Los Angeles or 119 days from Los Angeles to London).
The liner will visit ports such as Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Ushuaia (Argentina), Hobart (Tasmania), Mumbai (India), Luxor (Egypt) and many other cities. The cruise provides 22 overnight stops.
On board, passengers will have thematic lectures on the culture and history of the regions visited, as well as culinary master classes on the preparation of traditional dishes from different countries.
