Holland America Line, Princess Cruises and Seabourn Cruises Extend Cruise Cancellations!08.05.2020 11:21
Holland America Line is canceling all cruises in Alaska, Europe, Canada and New England for 2020. In addition, the cruise line is canceling the 79-day Grand Voyage on the Amsterdam liner, which was scheduled to depart on October 3, 2020.
As compensation, the cruise line offers:
- For those who have already paid for their cruises in full, the cruise company offers a certificate for a future cruise in the amount of 125% of the paid cruise fare. All prepaid services purchased from Holland America Line will be refunded according to the original payment method.
- For those who have not yet fully paid for their cruise, the cruise company offers a certificate for a future cruise for double the amount of the deposit paid in Holland America Line.
- For those who refuse the certificate for a future cruise, the cruise company promises to provide a 100% refund of the funds paid in Holland America Line. Refunds include both the cruise fare itself and all prepaid services purchased from Holland America Line. To do this, you must make a request by June 15, 2020. If the request is not sent before the specified date, you will automatically be assigned the first option.
Future Cruise Credit is valid for 12 months from the date of issue and can be used to book cruises departing before 31 December 2022.

Alaska Cruises on Emerald Princess and Ruby Princess

Summer-Autumn cruises departing from Japan on Diamond Princess

Autumn cruises in Hawaii, French Polynesia on Pacific Princess until November
As compensation, the cruise line offers:
- Guests booking cruises for these canceled dates and paying for them in full will receive Future Cruise Credit (FCC), the equivalent of 100% of the cruise fare paid and, as an additional bonus, 25% FCC.
- For guests who have not paid in full, the cruise company offers a certificate for a future cruise for double the amount of the paid deposit + an additional bonus.
- For guests who refuse a certificate for a future cruise, the cruise company promises to provide a 100% refund. To do this, you must make a request by June 15, 2020. If the request is not sent before the specified date, you will automatically be assigned the first option.
Future Cruise Credit guests must use the certificate on cruises with a departure date before May 1, 2022.

Seabourn Cruises are canceling cruises for their five cruise ships:
Seabourn Odyssey has suspended cruises until November 20.
Seabourn Sojourn suspended cruises until October 13th.
Seabourn Quest has suspended cruises until November 6.
Seabourn Encore suspended cruises operations until October 19.
Seabourn Ovation has suspended cruises until November 6.
As compensation, the cruise line offers:
- Guests who paid in full will receive 125% Future Cruise Credit of the base cruise fare paid at Seabourn.
- Guests who have paid deposits will receive 125% Future Cruise Credit + $ 300 in-flight credit per cabin.
- Guests who opt out of Future Cruise Credit can receive a full refund at Seabourn.
Future Cruise Credit is valid for 12 months from the date of issue and can be used to book cruises departing before 31 December 2022.
