Celestyal Cruises announced that it has provided 5.5 tonnes of perishable food, as well as a first aid kit and personal care products to approximately 7,500 residents in need in the municipalities of the metropolitan region of Piraeus, as well as a nursing home in Piraeus.
Celestyal has also partnered with the Greek Ministry of Health to support the National Health System by providing medical supplies. The donation includes: 12,000 surgical masks and 1,100 liters of liquid disinfectants to be donated to health centers dedicated to COVID-19 patients.
In addition, the company offers 50 three-day cruises for double occupancy for passengers who work in the health service. Three-day cruises to the Greek islands will take place during 2020 and 2021. The cruise will already include: accommodation in cabins of a certain category, drinks, entertainment, tips, as well as two excursions to Ancient Ephesus, Kusadasi and the Palace of Knossos on the island of Crete.
Celestyal said it will soon launch a global dedicated discount policy for cutting edge healthcare workers.
