This Friday, the Fincantieri shipyard launched the new Costa Cruises - Costa Venezia for the first time.
 

“As our first ship built specifically for the Chinese market, Costa Venezia marks a new era not only for Costa Cruises and Fincantieri, but for the Chinese cruise industry in general,” said Mario Zanetti, President of Costa Group Asia. “From the initial concept to today's surfacing ceremony and beyond, everything about Costa Venezia has been designed with the Chinese consumer in mind. Costa Venezia will continue to provide the authentic Italian Costa Cruises experience as well as a unique holiday experience that resonates with Chinese guests, fully adapting to their travel preferences. ”

Designed specifically for Chinese guests, the company said the ship's design was inspired by the passion of Venetian and Italian culture.

 

The ship's theater will be inspired by the Venetian theater "La Fenice"; the main atrium will be reminiscent of “Piazza San Marco”, and restaurants will be dedicated to the typical architecture of Venetian alleys. Costa Venezia will also feature original 'gondolas' made by local craftsmen. Masked parties will also be held on board, which will recreate the atmosphere of the famous Venice Carnival.

 

Guests can also sample Italian cuisine, luxury Italian shopping and world-class Italian entertainment while enjoying home comforts such as Chinese cuisine and Chinese-style karaoke, as well as the Golden Party with many surprises and gifts.
