The French fashion house Balmain presented its couture collection on the eve of Haute Couture Week in Paris, which took place from 6 to 8 July online.

 

Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing organized an original show-cruise on a barge that went along the Seine from the Eiffel Tower to Notre Dame Cathedral. There were no guests at the show, but those who wished could watch the unusual show from the banks of the river, as well as in real time on the social platform TikTok.

 

In addition to the new collection, Olivier Rousteing added archival dresses to the show, created by all previous Balmain creative directors, right up to the founder of the fashion house Pierre Balmain. Thus, he connected the show with the company's anniversary, since this year the French fashion house Balmain turns 75 years old.
