Действительно ли восстанавливается круизный рынок?!03.08.2020 11:13
All true connoisseurs of cruises and travel have already been waiting for the opening of borders, the resumption of flights, the resumption of cruises and the return of tourism in its usual form. Every day we receive calls with questions "when will the cruises begin and in which regions?"

Unfortunately, most cruise lines only report until what date the cruises are canceled. If it is known in advance that it is not possible to carry out a cruise on the dates indicated earlier by the cruise company, then the dates are again postponed. We have seen this situation across all cruise lines. Most of the reasons that affect the start of cruises are not associated with cruise companies, but directly with the coronavirus and the attitude of the governments of different countries towards it.

* We see that some countries have already opened up for tourism and are happy to welcome tourists, including from Ukraine.

But despite all this, there are cruise companies that, to one degree or another, have started cruises:

TUI Cruises is a joint venture between Royal Caribbean and Hapag-Lloyd. Liner Tui Mein Schiff 2 has already made its first four-day cruise from Hamburg. There were 1,200 lucky people on board (and what else to call those tourists who were lucky enough to go on a cruise after so many months of isolation). Since this cruise was the first, it was made completely scenic (no port access). But, considering that the cruise was in Northern Europe and the liner set off in the direction of Norway, this is not so critical. After all, the best views and beauty of Norway and Northern Europe can be seen from the side of the liner.
* Further, the liner will carry out short cruises with calls to the ports of Northern Europe.

Dream Cruises - resumed cruises from Taiwan. The company implements sea cruises on the Explorer Dream liner, which will call at the popular ports of Taiwan and the Peng Hu, Matsu and Kinmen islands, as well as Hualien.
Several important guests from Taiwan attended the event, including Minister of Transport and Communications Mr. Lin Jialong; the Minister of Health and Welfare, Mr. Chen Shihong; the Mayor of the Keelung Government, Mr. Lin Yu-chan; General Director of the Maritime and Port Bureau of MTC Mr. Kuo Tian Kuei; Mr. Zhuang Ren-Xiang, Deputy Director General of Taiwan Centers for Disease Control; business partners, media and representatives of Genting Cruise Lines.

Ponant and Paul Gauguin Cruises, luxury cruise lines that cruise along unique routes, have resumed cruises in July.

Le Bellot will cruise around Iceland, stopping at nature reserves and natural attractions to minimize visits to cities. Of course, this is due to additional security measures in connection with the coronavirus. As part of the cruise, it is planned to cross the Arctic Circle, where tourists can enjoy the nature of this region, as well as with its representatives: whales, killer whales and seals. Travels are scheduled for 5, 12, 19 and 26 August.

Le Champlain began its first cruise on 31 July from Dubrovnik along the Dalmatian coast in Croatia. In the Arctic, Ponanth resumed expeditionary cruises on July 11 with completely new routes. Le Boreal will sail from Longyearbyen, Norway on 28 September, a large, 23-day expedition cruise. Le Jacques Cartier - makes cruises near the French coast, visiting many of the natural attractions of France, as well as stopping at the port of Fr. Corsica.

Paul Gauguin Cruises at the moment, resumed cruises on only one liner visiting the islands of French Polynesia. Basically, these cruises are targeted at local residents.

And completing our review of cruise lines that have resumed cruises is Variety Cruises
The cruise company has small cruise ships in its fleet (accommodating 42 to 72 passengers). This is the safest format for cruises in modern realities and an ideal vacation for tourists who want to combine yachting with comfort and relaxation. The first cruises will be on the Adriatic. The main starting port for cruises will be Piraeus (Athens), Greece.

And we, in turn, are waiting for the resumption of cruises on liners and other cruise companies.

!!! I would like to remind, despite the skepticism of the Internet layman, who do not know anything about liners and their safety systems and attitude to hygiene, cruises remain the safest type of travel. Everything that is now only being introduced in hotels and public places has been on cruise ships for decades (including sanitizers).
