Costa Cruises presents a new route network for 2020-2021!11.09.2020 13:09
As a result of new health safety protocols, Italian cruise company Costa Cruises is making changes to its itinerary, which covers the period from October 2020 to March 2021, according to the official statement.
The headline news will be Costa Firenze's newest liner currently under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera, Venice. The ship is scheduled to debut in December 2020, and its host region will be Europe, not China, as previously planned. Costa Firenze will operate weekly routes with a visit to Savona, La Spezia, Naples, Valencia, Barcelona and Marseille, and the liner will go to the Celestial Empire no earlier than 2022.
Costa Deliziosa will offer weekly cruises from Trieste to Trieste on 24 September and 04 October. Starting from October 10, the liner will operate circular routes from Trieste to Greece. The Costa Deliziosa round-the-world cruise has also been confirmed to start on 03 January 2021.
The company will also unveil the new flagship Costa Smeralda, which will again operate from Savona in the Western Mediterranean on 10 October.
Another ship from the Costa Cruises fleet, Costa Diadema, will begin its program in November and will offer a 12-day itinerary in the Canary Islands and a 14-day itinerary with calls to Egypt and Greece.
Also in the summer of 2021, cruises will return to Northern Europe, one of the favorite destinations of Costa guests. During the summer season 2021 4 ships will cruise across Northern Europe:
- Costa Fortuna and Costa Diadema will operate weekly cruises in the Baltic capitals and the Norwegian fjords, respectively;
- Costa Favolosa will offer an amazing 14-day vacation in Iceland, 9 days in the Norwegian Fjords and two weeks in Ireland, Scotland and England;
- Costa Fascinosa will make 12-day cruises to the very North Cape and a 9-day itinerary in the Baltic Sea.
At the moment, cruises are only available for Europeans!
In addition to the routes above, all other cruises scheduled from October 2020 to March 2021 have been canceled.
