Royal Caribbean's second Quantum-ultra class cruise ship departed from Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany. The ship will continue to prepare for cruises in the spring of 2021.

 

More recently, giant propellers were installed on the new Royal Caribbean cruise ship, and the ship has now been launched for further work.

 

Odyssey of the Seas left Dock 6 at Meyer Werft on Saturday morning and is now at the pier for final work.

 

The masts and chimneys are installed with a crane after leaving the dock. This cannot be done inside due to the limited height of the room. The Polar Star will also be installed, which rises above the ship. In the coming weeks, the main work will be carried out in the interior and after finishing.

 

The new vessel Odyssey of the Seas will begin sea trials in the coming months. The ship will finally be transferred to the cruise line shortly thereafter.

 

Due to the pandemic, the transfer of the liner to the cruise company has already been delayed, the inauguration was supposed to take place in November 2020, but was postponed to April 2021.

 

The Odyssey of the Seas will hold the inaugural season in the Mediterranean. Next, he will go to the Caribbean where he will make 8-day cruises from the port of Fort Lauderdale / Florida, USA
