Oceania Cruises has announced major changes to the modernization of its fleet. The company has unveiled a project called Oceania next, which will ultimately affect all aspects of the company's luxury cruises: ships, gourmet cuisine, and sailing regions.
“Oceania next will be the most extensive and comprehensive package of product and service improvements for guests we have ever undertaken,” said Bob Binder, President and CEO of Oceania Cruises.
The renovation will result in 342 new designer suites and cabins, as well as new décor in restaurants, lounges and bars.

“We maintain the intimate atmosphere and personal attention that our guests love, while at the same time setting a new standard for style and elegance on our ships. We have opened a new chapter that is groundbreaking in every way as we look to the future and how our guests want to travel. We can't wait for our 'new' ships to appear. "
Oceania Cruises announced that the ships will receive stylish and new interiors that showcase new and better designs for life on board.
In defining public spaces, the company says changes will be present at the reception and in the upper hall, as well as a new grand staircase framed by intricate railings and crystal-accented balustrades that will welcome guests aboard.

The most impressive change in the cabins and suites, which will be taken apart and redesigned from scratch. Dark woods, browns, wavy sofas and headboards will be replaced with lighter, brighter and cleaner motifs. The rooms will be inspired by the sea and the sky in silver gray and sapphire green accents.
