Royal Caribbean Sells Oldest Liners!29.12.2020 14:11
Everything in the world is being updated and improved and cruise companies are no exception. We often inform you about the construction of new and innovative liners. What happens to the old ones !?
There are many options. One of the most common is the sale of liners to other, more "modest" cruise lines. And so did one of the most famous cruise companies in the world - Royal Carribean.
For the first time in years, the cruise line Royal Caribbean International sold two of its ships, Empress of the Seas (1990) and Majesty of the Seas (1992). It's worth noting that these are the oldest cruise ships in the fleet and don't quite fit into one of the most modern cruise fleets in the world. And a comparison with the largest liners in the world (pictured above), OASIS class, proves this once again.
At the moment, it is not known exactly who the Majesty of the Seas was sold to. But the Empress of the Seas was acquired by the Indian cruise company - Waterways Leisure Tourism Pvt Ltd., which now owns the Cordelia Cruises brand.
We wish you luck in developing new cruise projects around the world!
