From January 26, to visit the United States, you must provide a negative test for Covid-19!14.01.2021 11:33
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the US government is introducing a new rule for all passengers on international airlines, according to which passengers arriving in the US from 01/26/2021 must test negative for Covid-19. It must be done a maximum of 3 days before departure. Passengers can take both the PCR test and the rapid antigen test.
Travelers from countries where testing is difficult will not be able to take tests for two weeks after the order comes into force.
If travelers do not have a negative test on hand, the airline must refuse boarding.
This will correctly apply to both tourists and US citizens returning home, with the exception of airline crews, military personnel and children under two years of age. Also, providing a negative test is a must, even for those who have a vaccination certificate.
After three to five days after arriving in the United States, it is recommended to take the test again, and also stay in quarantine for seven days.
In general, American airlines supported the new rule, but said that in this case, travelers from Europe, the UK and Brazil should be allowed to travel to the United States again.
