Seychelles have announced that they will welcome tourists from all over the world from March 25, 2021, regardless of whether they are vaccinated or not. Tourists from South Africa remain barred from entry until further consideration.
To visit the Seychelles, tourists will need to present a negative PCR test result, taken no more than 72 hours before arrival. There will be no quarantine restrictions upon entry.
However, public order measures will be in place, including wearing masks, maintaining social distancing, and regularly disinfecting and washing hands.
Hotel visitors will not have any restrictions on the hotel territory, including visits to bars, pools, spas and children's clubs.
This decision was made possible by the success of the vaccination of the population, which the country began at the beginning of the year and which, according to the government, was quite successful.
Seychelles, a small state off the east coast of Africa with an economy primarily based on tourism, became the first African country to launch a Covid-19 immunization campaign in January 2021.
