The first test cruises of MSC Cruises and Disney Cruise Line have begun
As we wrote earlier in the cruise news, in order to resume cruises from the United States, according to the CDC conditions, you need to go through a test cruise. This is due to the safety protocols and their verification directly in the cruise.
MSC Meraviglia - on Friday (07/16/2021) departed for a cruise from Miami.
Disney Dream - on Friday (07.16.2021) departed for a cruise from Port Canaveral.

The Crystal Endeavor luxury expeditionary liner embarked on its first cruise.
Crystal Endeavor was built back in 2020, but due to the pandemic it did not operate cruises. And so, finally, he went on his first cruise.
There are only 200 people on board - this is the maximum capacity of the liner. At the same time, the crew of the liner also includes 200 people, which reflects the level of service and the ratio of the number of passengers to the crew of the liner.

07/18/2021, the litigation between the CDC and the Governor of Florida ended.
There was a real war between the Florida Governor and the CDC in the courts. It seemed that the victory was over the state. But the court made the final decision on July 18, 2021.
What does it mean?

All cruises from the United States require guests to be vaccinated. Boarding is possible after 14 days after the second dose of vaccine.
And PCR test cruises are already available in Europe!

ALL MORE LINERS GO ON CRUISE

Cruises continue to resume around the world! More and more liners are starting to travel and more and more regions are opening up.
Liners that started cruises for the first time since the pandemic:
06/26/2021 Celebrity EDGE (2019) - one of the most innovative liners in the world began its first cruise after the outbreak of the pandemic from the Port of Everglades, USA. There are 1105 guests on board (41.2% load), with only 2 adults and 24 children not vaccinated. At the same time, all crew members were vaccinated in advance.
Cruise line: Celebrity Cruises
Region: Western Caribbean: Costa Maya, Cozumel and Nassau

06/26/2021 Britannia began its UK cruises on Sunday. According to a press release, the liner will operate cruises for 3, 4 and 7 nights until 09/25/2021. Britannia will then move south into the Mediterranean.
Cruise line: P&O Cruises
* As a reminder, the cruises started on 20.05.2021 on the MSC Virtuosa by the same principle.

06/27/2021 Spirit of Discovery (2019) - another new liner began cruises in the UK. This is the first ship from Saga Cruises to cruise after the outbreak of the pandemic.
And already on July 26, 2021, the second liner of this cruise company, Spirit of Adventure, will resume cruises.
Cruise line: Saga Cruises

Of course, the top news was the resumption of cruises on the Celestyal Cruises liners, which are available even for non-vaccinated tourists. At the same time, the prices, which include drinks, gratuities and excursions, are very pleasing.
There are even the first reviews from the lucky ones who visited the first cruise!
IMPORTANT: A PCR test is enough for cruises on Celestyal Cruises!

NEW CRUISE LINERS

The continued construction of new cruise ships is a very positive indicator. It should be noted that innovations in construction have touched not only entertainment and comfort, but also environmental friendliness. More and more liners are being built on the basis of engines that run on LNG (liquefied natural gas) - the purest form of fossil fuel. Some of these liners, which we wrote about earlier:
- Costa Toscana
- Carnival Mardi Gras
- MSC World Europa
- Icon of the Seas
- MV Narrative

What liners launched in June or announced construction?
SH Minerva is the first liner that we are in a hurry to celebrate. She was launched on 23.06.2021 in Helsinki and is the first cruise ship of the new Swan Hellenic cruise line.
The launch of the second SH Vega liner is scheduled for 2022.
Swan Hellenic Cruises will organize unique luxury expedition cruises.

MSC Seascape - new liner from MSC Cruises!
MSC Cruises is not slowing down! Not only are they building completely new cruise ships, they are also creating whole cruise companies!
06/24/2021 MSC Cruises announced the construction of a new Seaside EVO class cruise ship. At the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy, a coin ceremony took place and the keel was laid for the new liner.
As part of the event, traditionally, two coins were placed in the keel of the future liner ...

Icon of the Seas is a completely new class liner that will run on LNG.
On Monday 14 June, Royal Caribbean International celebrated the start of construction on its first Icon Class liner in Meyer Turku.
We wrote more about this news earlier.

Crystal Endeavor - will become the ninth liner in the fleet of the luxury cruise company - Crystal Cruises. The name of the new liner was solemnly announced at the MV Werften exhibition in Stralsund.
This liner will be the first Polar Class Six (PC6) expedition vessel to be built in Germany.
This is important news about which we want to write in more detail.
