For you, we have prepared a summary of the safety protocols and boarding procedures for the Harmony of the Seas in the ports of Rome and Barcelona.
 
From Barcelona, ​​Spain

Vaccination:
 
 
For Mediterranean cruises: All guests over 18 years of age must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Guests under the age of 18 do not need to be vaccinated, but if they are vaccinated, they can follow the protocols for vaccinated guests.
 
For a transatlantic cruise: All guests on board must be vaccinated
 
The second vaccination must be given at least 14 days prior to arrival at the cruise terminal in Barcelona. The certificate must be in English and issued by a government agency in your country.
 
The entire liner team is vaccinated.
 
Testing:
 
Before traveling to Spain
All foreign guests are advised to check the latest Spanish Government Tourist Guidelines.
 
Vaccinated guests with a valid vaccination certificate will be able to travel to Spain without having to take a COVID-19 test:
Guests traveling from the EU (European Union) must present the EU Digital Covid-19 Certificate in digital format to airport health officials.
 
Guests traveling from outside the EU must provide proof of complete vaccination issued by non-EU countries. Any such document must contain at least the following information: the traveler's first and last name, the identity document number that matches the one used to obtain the Spain FCS medical form (SpTH QR), the date of full vaccination, the vaccine and the country of vaccination ...
 
Unvaccinated guests between the ages of 12 and 17 who are traveling from countries that are high-risk countries in Spain will be required to take a COVID-19 test [NAAT (Nucleic Acid Amplification Test, eg RT-PCR, RT-LAMP , TMA) / RAT (rapid antigen test)] at your own expense no later than 48 hours before arrival in Spain, and submit your negative result to the airport medical staff. This test is required by the Spanish government to enter the country.

All guests must ensure that the documents submitted to enter Spain are the original version; they must be in Spanish, English, French or German and may be in paper or electronic format. If it is not possible to obtain it in these languages, it must be accompanied by a Spanish translation certified by an official body.
 
Guests of all ages entering Spain from other countries must complete the Spain FCS (Medical Control) form before traveling to Spain. You can do it at this link.
 
Guests under 2 years old will not be tested. Guests residing in Spain do not have to take any pre-travel tests and must comply with the requirements below.
 
Landing day in Barcelona
All guests aged 2 years and older must complete a free rapid antigen test at the Barcelona cruise terminal and test negative in order to cruise. We will send you an email with instructions on how to check in early, approximately 14-18 days prior to your cruise.
 
During the cruise
All unvaccinated guests between the ages of 2 and 17 must complete a free COVID-19 test mid-cruise. Once on board, we will advise you where you can drop it off.
 
Before returning home
All guests aged 2 years and older will be required to take a free COVID-19 test before the cruise ends. This result is required to re-enter Spain and can also be used to re-enter your country if needed. Additional information will be provided on board.
 
Masks:
 
All guests over 6 years old must wear masks during the entire cruise, except for their cabin, pools and sun loungers and in restaurants (when they are at the table and actively drinking / eating)
 
Ashore:
Spain:
Vaccinated guests: Free exit in all ports
Unvaccinated guests will only be able to go ashore as part of Royal Caribbean excursions
 
Italy:
All guests will be able to go ashore only as part of Royal Caribbean excursions
 
Vaccinated guests will be required to present a vaccination certificate in order to exit at Italian ports, as this is required to visit cultural sites, restaurants and other public places. Unvaccinated guests between the ages of 6 and 17 will be required to present a negative COVID-19 test at the same locations. We will run a free test for these guests in the middle of the cruise. Guests under 6 years old are not required to provide additional documentation.
 
If guests want to leave the ship, they need to obtain the following documents:
EU PLF: All guests wishing to visit Italy must complete the Passenger Locator Form at the EU PLF application.
Additional documents are not required to visit Spanish ports
 
Restaurants:
 
All restaurants will be open, distancethe space between the tables is increased. Windjammer will work with waiters. We recommend that you book your tables in advance through the Cruise Planner or the App.
 
Show:
 
The shows will be limited to theater capacity, but the number of performances will be increased for everyone to watch. We recommend that you book your tables in advance through the Cruise Planner or the App.
 
 
 
From Rome, Italy

The rules for entering Italy differ depending on the country you are traveling from. Guests will be required to present proof of vaccination, negative test result for COVID-19 or a certificate of recovery, depending on their country of origin.
 
Guests from some countries may be required to be isolated upon arrival in Italy, which may affect their travel plans. Guests affected by this requirement should contact us to discuss their options.
Requirements change frequently, so please review this information regularly before traveling.
 
Guests of all ages entering Italy from other countries must complete an electronic EU Passenger Locator Form before traveling to Italy. This will generate a QR code, which, if necessary, should be provided to your airline and border police. A paper form can be completed if you do not have an electronic device. You can fill out the form here.
 
Guests staying in Italy are not required to take any pre-test tests, but are required to comply with the test requirements upon arrival at the port and during the cruise.
