1. NOT ONLY THE BIGGEST LINER

Indeed, Icon of the Seas will be the largest cruise ship in the world! And this is not a cunning trick of marketers and designers of Royal Caribbean, who made each subsequent OASIS class liner “a meter longer”, but really a big difference.

Icon of the Seas will have a displacement of 250,000 tons, which is 22,375 tons more than the last OASIS class liner (Wonder of the Seas - 227,625 tons).

Another very important indicator of comfort. Despite the fact that the new liner will be much larger, its passenger capacity will be only 5610 passengers!

Recall that Wonder of the Seas could accommodate 6,780 guests as much as possible.

This ratio of tonnage and the number of passengers will make your vacation much more comfortable.

2. EIGHT AREAS (ZONES) OF THE LINER

For maximum convenience and clear location on the liner, everything is divided into 8 thematic zones. These are both areas that have proven themselves well on OASIS class liners, as well as completely new areas:

Surfside - was designed for young families, aimed at adults and children under the age of six. In the aft part of the vessel there are swimming pools for adults and children, as well as restaurants, a bar, a carousel, an arcade and much more;

AquaDome - located on top of the ship, described by Royal Caribbean as a place of transformation unlike any other. During the day, the area offers panoramic views of the ocean and waterfall, while at night it becomes a lively nightlife destination with restaurants, bars and water shows at the AquaTheater. After debuting in the Oasis class, the show venue will feature a new transformable pool, four robotic arms, state-of-the-art projection and more;

Thrill Island is the largest water park in the sea;
