Royal Caribbean continues to delight us with the construction of new liners. More recently, sales were opened for cruises on a new class liner - Icon Of The Seas ... But already on February 15, 2023, the construction of a new ICON class liner was announced!

Despite the fact that the first cruises on the Icon Of The Seas are planned for the beginning of 2024, a record number of tourists have already purchased cruises on it.

The construction of the new ICON-class liner began with a steel-cutting ceremony at the same Meyer Turku shipyard where Icon Of The Seas is being built.

Consultation on any issues

Icon Class ships will be Royal Caribbean's newest class of cruise ships. The order received three Icon-class ships:

- Icon Of The Seas in Q3 2023;

- The second liner (name not yet known) in the 2nd quarter of 2025;

- The third liner (name not yet known) in the 2nd quarter of 2026;

Not much is yet known about the Icon class, but according to SEC filings from the Royal Caribbean Group in April 2021, the new Icon Class ships will carry around 5,600 passengers.
