Royal Caribbean International will be cruising from Shanghai as early as April 2024 on the Spectrum of the Seas (built in 2019), marking the return of the cruise line to China.
For the 2024-2025 cruise season, Anthem of the Seas will move to Singapore, starting cruising as early as October 2024.

Singapore has become the first home port in Asia to allow ships to resume cruises at the end of 2020.
Since then Spectrum of the Seas has operated cruises primarily from Singapore lasting between three and four nights.
Spectrum of the Seas will head to China and begin offering cruises from Shanghai to tourists in April 2024. The ship will visit Japanese ports including Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka, Fukuoka and Nagasaki.
From Hong Kong, Spectrum of the Seas will offer eight cruises to Japan, Taiwan and Vietnam.
