The October update of new cruise ship orders presents new statistics for 66 ships and 171,234 passenger seats by 2036.
The value of orders for new ships is 56.5 billion dollars.
With only two ships left to enter service this year, Disney Treasure and Viking Vela, all attention will soon turn to 2025, when 15 new ships are scheduled to enter service.
These include flagships from the 180-guest Four Season I to Royal Caribbean International's 5,610-guest Star of the Seas, as well as the new MSC World America, which will debut in Miami in April.

2026 will be another year with 15 new ships bringing just under 30,000 new passenger seats into service. Highlights for 2026 include a new flagship for the Orient Express, as well as the new Norwegian Luna, which will be an enhanced version of Norwegian Cruise Line's Prima class.
Also, Seven Seas Prestige, a new class of ship from Regent Seven Seas Cruises with a capacity of 850 guests and 77,000 tons.
