This Tuesday, Royal Caribbean announced the launch of Celebrity River Cruises—a premium river cruise brand that will open for bookings this year, according to an official press release.
The company has placed an initial order for 10 innovative vessels and plans to begin sailings in 2027.
“We are excited to announce our entry into the river cruise market through our premium Celebrity Cruises brand. Our guests and travel partners can expect us to do what we do best—innovate and elevate the river cruise experience to meet the growing demand for intimate and culturally enriching travel,” said Jason Liberty, President and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group.
