After a lengthy construction process in the Romanian town of Tulcea, France's newest Le Lapérouse is finally preparing for final assembly in Norway.
At the moment the liner is heading towards the VARD shipyard in Søviknes (Norway). Ponant is expected to take delivery of the new innovative ship this June.
Le Lapérouse is the first of four identical 180-passenger ships that Ponant plans to launch in the near future. The twin LeChamplain is also expected in 2018, and two more vessels - LeBougainville and LeDumont-d'Urville are on order for 2019.
