On March 13, 2019, Holland America Line announced that its next Pinnacle-class ship will be Ryndam. It will be the 17th ship built for Holland America Line by an Italian shipbuilder at Fincantieri. The liner will be launched in 2021.
Ryndam will be similar to the liners Koningsdam and Nieuw Statendam. The liner will have a displacement of 99,500 tons and a capacity of 2,662 passengers. As the third in the series, Ryndam will feature Pinnacle class enhancements and innovations.
