If you decide to stay in Livorno, you can easily discover everything on foot or using public transport. From Pisa Airport to Livorno

Livorno
Port of Livorno. The port is a truly impressive and monumental place and it is one of the busiest and most productive ports in Italy.
Fortezza Nuova. Featuring a typical pentagonal style with a series of pointed battlements, the fort is an imposing structure surrounded on all sides by a canal. Today it is possible to stroll through the grounds, explore several passages and walk through the battlements to admire beautiful views of the canals and city.
New Venice. The area around Fortezza Nuova is known as Nuova Venezia and this is due to the many canals that line the streets. From here, you can admire the beautiful waterways and small sailboats that line the canals.
Via Grande. This wide and important street runs from the roundabout near the port to the impressive Republic Square, and down this stretch you will find a number of shops and restaurants, as well as several important structures and squares.
Terrace of Mascagni. One of the best places to walk and relax. It is located on the waterfront that stretches from the Orlando shipyards, opened in the middle of the 19th century, to the Livorno Aquarium. It is named after Petro Mascagni, the composer and author of the famous opera Rural Honor.
Cathedral of Saint Francis. It is located in Piazza Grande. The cathedral has a characteristic light gray symmetrical facade and a portico against the background of the dark terracotta other parts of the building.
The old fortress. The fortress has witnessed all periods of Livorno's history, from its foundation. In the place where it now stands, even the remains of settlements from the Bronze and Iron Ages were found.
Museum of Natural History of the Mediterranean. The Natural History Museum of Livorno is housed in the historic Villa Henderson, quietly located on Viale Roma. The museum was founded in 1929 after World War II, which led to the loss of the collection.
Pisa
Cathedral of St. Mary Assunta. The Cathedral is a wonderful structure and absolutely essential when visiting Pisa. The construction of this amazing cathedral began in the 11th century and was completed in 1092. The cathedral's front façade is truly richly decorated with a series of beautiful stone and marble arches and three sumptuous bronze doors.
Leaning Tower of Pisa. Overall, this is the main reason people visit Pisa, and it is a structure known throughout the world. The Cathedral of Pisa is a beautiful structure in itself, but it became famous for its noticeable slope. To this day, the tower is still tilted and measures have been taken to ensure it collapses. Aside from posing for fun photos, the architecture of the tower is actually fantastic and the 6 rows of stone arches are just beautiful.
Baptistery. This huge 54-meter-high structure has a magnificent exterior design with many different statues, arches and ornaments. In addition, the domed roof of the baptistery is only half completed - half is covered with orange tiles, and the other half is bare and never finished.
National Museum. The National Museum of Pisa, located on the banks of the Arno River, is the most valuable museum in the city. Stunning artifacts and sculptures are on display here.
Santa Maria della Spina. Although this church is indeed quite small, it is considered one of the most beautiful in Pisa due to its rich design and location on the riverbank. Originally built in the 13th century, the building is in the Gothic style with a number of sumptuous pointed gables.
Palazzo dei Cavalieri. Knights' Square is one of the main squares in Pisa, and the Palazzo dei Cavalieri is a beautiful palace that is a central attraction. This palace was built in the 16th century and was originally the headquarters of the Knights of St. Stephen.
Ponte di Mezzo bridge. One of the most beautiful and outstanding bridges in Pisa, overlooking the Arno River. This bridge is 89 meters long and was built in 1947.
Florence

Basilica of Santa Maria del Fiore and Brunelleschi's dome. Climbing the Cathedral with the huge dome of Filippo Brunelleschi is one of the most exciting adventures in the center of Florence. From there, you can dominate the entire city and observe a unique view.
Ponte Vecchio. It is one of the landmarks of Florence and by far the most photographed and famous bridge in the city. It was built in the narrowest Arno point and is the only remaining bridge with houses and shops on it.
Piazzale Michelangelo. Piazza Michelangelo, with its magnificent panoramic views of the city, is located in the Oltrarno area and is probably the most famous square in Florence. The view from this vantage point is very impressive and has been reproduced in countless postcards and photographs over the years.
Oltrarn district. Oltrarno, on the other side of the river from Piazza della Signoria, is one of the most intimate areas of Florence and in many ways feels like a small town. In this area you will find a lot of historical and artistic heritage: monuments, museums, churches, palaces, parks : Pitti Palace, Piazza Santo Spirito, Boboli Gardens, as well as artisan workshops and mosaics.
