Due to the evolving COVID-19 situation around the world, Princess Cruises is temporarily making some changes for passengers.

 

Compensation from Princess Cruises

 

Due to the cancellations of cruises from March 12 to May 10, 2020, Princess Cruises offers its tourists compensation in the form of two options to choose from:

 

Departure date Option 1 Option 2

March 12 - March 25, 2020 100% refund in the form of a certificate for a future cruise + 125% bonus certificate for a future cruise 100% refund + 100% certificate for a future cruise

March 26 - April 8, 2020 100% refund in the form of a certificate for a future cruise + 75% bonus certificate for a future cruise 100% refund + 50% certificate for a future cruise

April 9 - May 10, 2020 100% refund in the form of a certificate for a future cruise + 50% bonus certificate for a future cruise 100% refund + 25% certificate for a future cruise

 

The future cruise certificate is non-refundable and non-transferable and must be used before May 1, 2022, for any cruise departing before May 1, 2022.

The certificate for a future cruise does not have to be used for a similar cruise to the canceled one.

Due to the large number of cancellations, the certificate for a future cruise will not be available immediately, processing can take up to 30 business days.

 

Cruise with confidence

The cruise line has updated its 'Cruise with Confidence' booking and cancellation policy, which offers guests peace of mind when booking summer cruises and cruise vacations during an evolving COVID-19 outbreak.

 

Cruises from 11 May 2020 to 31 July 2020:

 

Princess Cruises plans to resume their cruises from May 11, 2020.

Cruise with Confidence applies to cruises departing before 31 July 2020

On these cruises, you can cancel your reservation 48 hours before departure.

If canceled 48 hours in advance, you will receive a certificate for a future cruise in the amount equal to the amount of the fine imposed for the cancellation of the cruise

 

Cruises from August 1st to October 15th

 

If you booked a crisis for these dates before April 30, then if the cruise is canceled 30 days before the start, you will receive a certificate for a future cruise in an amount equal to the amount of the fine imposed for the cancellation of the cruise
