Viking Star has two pools, al fresco dining and incredible unobstructed views. The cruise ship has a glass-covered main pool that can be closed in inclement weather. Nearby is a spacious seating area with elegant furnishings, ideal for enjoying afternoon tea. You can also enjoy reading books in the library.

 

Major entertainment activities include exciting lectures on board, performances at the main theater, including specially themed shows featuring local talent that reflect the culture of the ship's destination.

Viking Star's main dining room is called The Restaurant, which serves local cuisine as well as classic American dishes. Most of the food is based on the route being taken, such as the Venetian risotto on sailing ships from Venice, or perhaps the traditional Turkish meze as the liner sails across the Bosphorus.

 

Other dining options include the World Café, located on Deck 7, and Deck 2 - Manfredi's and The Chef's Table, the ship's signature restaurants. Both offer authentic and delicious cuisine.

 

The Viking Star also features The Kitchen Table, which allows cruise passengers to cook with the chef. While not a complementary dining option, it can provide guests with an experience they will remember for a long time.
