37,000 cruise berths and 27 cruise ships awaiting relaunch!27.03.2023 00:33
As the restart of the global cruise industry is largely complete, around 37,000 berths and 27 cruise ships around the world are still in limbo, according to Cruise Industry News.
Of these 27 ships, seven have been published and confirmed plans, and are scheduled to enter service later this year.
Highlights include: the Costa Serena, which will soon travel to Asia; Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity, which will reopen this summer; and the launch of the CFC brand with Renaissance.

Six more ships are thought to be waiting for a green light in China or a new career elsewhere.
According to sources, the Seajets fleet includes four cruise ships that could be restarted if they find a suitable operator or charter agreement. The company recently closed deals with CFC and Celestyal Cruises, selling two ships.
Also in question are ships like Pacific Venus, which ended its career with Venus Cruise earlier this year in Japan, and Fred. Olsen's Braemar, which the company says will not reopen.
