Royal Caribbean`s innovative Star of the Seas will debut in 2025 from Port Canaveral!21.08.2024 11:07
Royal Caribbean International announced in a press release that the company`s new ship, Star of the Seas, will offer a variety of cruise options from Port Canaveral, Florida, when it debuts in August 2025.

The ship will feature attractions such as the fastest and tallest waterslides in the world, more than 40 restaurants and bars, and unique experiences at destinations like Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas.
Highlights include the Lincoln Park Supper Club, a 1930s Chicago-themed restaurant, a Category 6 waterpark, seven pools, and an adults-only Hideaway with an infinity pool.
“Star of the Seas is the second and boldest step in this exciting new era pioneered by Icon of the Seas, and it puts the world’s best vacation on the map in yet another popular travel destination,” said Michael Bailey, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean International.
“With more adventurers than ever between Miami and Port Canaveral (Orlando), cruisers can set their sights on cruises that combine the best of all cruises – from beach vacations to resort getaways and theme park adventures – with experiences that have been and will continue to make headlines and make memories for years to come.”

Star of the Seas will feature eight unique areas, of which the company highlights the following five in its press release:
1. Thrill Island: Featuring a Category 6 waterpark with six water slides, the Crown’s Edge observation deck and thrill ride, the FlowRider surf simulator and miniature golf.
2. Chill Island: A three-deck area with four pools, including the largest pool at sea, Royal Bay, and a poolside bar, Swim & Tonic.
3. Surfside: A family-friendly area with water play areas for kids, as well as restaurants like the Surfside Eatery and The Lemon Post.
4. AquaDome: Overlooking the ocean, the AquaTheater features shows with divers, aerialists, robots, dancers and more, plus dining at AquaDome Market and The Overlook.
5. The Hideaway: An adults-only beach club 135 feet above the ocean with a suspended infinity pool, DJ, bar, and whirlpool.

Star of the Seas will also introduce new innovations, including the ocean-view Royal Promenade, the world`s largest kinetic art sculpture, and more than 15 dining and entertainment venues. The ship also features an exclusive Suite Neighborhood.
Star will join the recently launched Utopia of the Seas in Port Canaveral, offering guests options for weeklong Caribbean cruises or shorter three- or four-night trips to the Bahamas. Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in the Bahamas will debut in late 2025, expanding Royal Caribbean`s offerings.
