Citizens of Ukraine when crossing the border must have an entry permit - a visa.

The exception is those citizens of Ukraine who have a permanent resident visa or a valid visa to Japan, Great Britain, Schengen countries, Canada or the USA, or in the case of permanent residence in countries that are members of the Pacific Alliance (Peru, Chile, Colombia)

If you travel to Mexico by air, citizens of Ukraine will be able to visit the country, having previously issued an Electronic Entry Permit. This permit gives the right to visit Mexico once for 180 days and must be issued no earlier than 30 days before entry. An electronic permit can be obtained every time an applicant wishes to visit Mexico.

It is important to check in advance with the airline that will operate the flight whether it is included in the IATA system (IATA list of airlines https://www.iata.org/about/members/Pages/airline-list.aspx). If, under some circumstances, the airline is unable to check your electronic authorization during check-in, you will be prohibited from boarding.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO OBTAIN AN ELECTRONIC PERMIT IN MEXICO:

1. Scanned copy of the international passport, the minimum validity of which is at least 6 months.

2. Application form of the applicant with all the filled in data.

In all other cases, you need to obtain a visa pasted into your passport.

Submission of documents takes place by the applicant in person at the Embassy of Mexico in Ukraine after a request to set the date and time of submission to the email address mexicokiev@sre.gob.mx

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR A VISA TO MEXICO:

1. Completed application form;

2. Foreign passport, the validity of which must be at least 6 months and have at least 2 pages marked "Visas" + copies of the first page and all pages with marks.

3. One color photo (35 x 45 mm) on a light background (taken no later than 3 months before submission).

4. Original Certificate from the place of work with a minimum experience of at least a year, indicating the amount of salary for the last 6 months (income statement).

5. Original Certificate from the bank about the balance on the card account, plus a statement of the movement of funds on this card account for the last 6 months.

6. Photocopies of documents confirming the presence of movable and immovable property (apartment, cottage, car, ...).

7. Booked or redeemed tickets.

8. Hotel reservation for the entire period of stay in Mexico.
